Some Things I've Built

I built Ask Herbie, a healthcare chatbot for a UK client (Neil Cartwright) at Plantz.io, making health-related information easier to access using AI, done properly. The chatbot uses a vector-based retrieval system to understand context instead of keyword matching, which made a huge difference in answer quality. We're integrating Pinecone as the vector database to improve response accuracy, retrieval speed, scalability, and reliability. The focus is a solid retrieval pipeline: structuring knowledge, optimizing embeddings, and grounding answers in data. AI products are infrastructure-heavy, not just prompt engineering. Embedded via iframe into the existing WordPress site with product and remedy suggestions based on user needs.

Nina is an in-product AI assistant that lives inside a real-time chat application. When users type @AskNina in any conversation (group or 1:1), Nina answers in context using the thread’s history—no switching apps. I built the backend and integration: real-time mention detection, fetching conversation context, calling the AI, and saving replies back into the thread. She supports app-summaries, task extraction, and answers grounded in the actual chat, so teams get help without leaving the flow of work.

Perfete is a wedding vendor directory where couples discover and compare wedding professionals and get inspiration for luxury weddings and events. I contributed to the product using React, Supabase, AWS S3, and Cloudflare CDN—so the app stays fast and scalable with reliable auth, storage, and global delivery. The focus was a clear, performant experience for browsing vendors and content.

I manage and optimize the Shopify store for ApheaFashion, a fashion brand specializing in boho-inspired silk blend kimono robes and resort wear. As Virtual Assistant / Store Manager, I handle product listings, SEO optimization, pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, customer communication, and overall store performance. The main store runs on Shopify with multi-currency and global shipping.
