About me
Hi, I'm Saad, a full-stack software engineer with 4+ years of experience building web and mobile applications. I got into programming during my Computer Science degree, and what started as coursework quickly became something I genuinely enjoy doing.
I also build AI-powered products and data pipelines, from chatbots and RAG systems to BI dashboards and data engineering on BigQuery and Databricks.
I lead Appzivo as CEO of a product and engineering studio for larger, end-to-end builds, while still partnering directly on select freelance projects.
What I've been up to
I've worked with companies like TheHexatown, Megaverse Technologies and Codeaza Technologies. Most of my time has been spent building responsive interfaces, working with APIs, and handling the backend work that makes everything fit together.
I also do freelance work on Fiverr and Upwork, which has been great for working on different types of projects and learning how different teams approach problems. It's taught me a lot about communicating clearly and delivering on time.
How I work
I focus on writing clean, maintainable code and solving actual problems. I'm not big on over-engineering things; if something works well and is easy to understand, that's usually the right approach. I keep learning new tools as they come up, but I also know when to stick with what already works.
